Great food, excellent service.
I opted to sit at the bar since there was no wait. The bartenders were very friendly and the service was excellent.
I ordered a sweet tea and the Apple Butter sandwich with a side of Mexican street corn. The sandwich was absolutely perfect and the corn was good but needed a little salt and pepper to my taste, but it had plenty of toppings on it which helped make up for it.
Parking can be difficult since it's just off the street but the food is definitely worth it. I'm glad I chose to stop in here, I highly recommend it to others. -

Seated immediately by a lovely server. I asked what non alcoholic beverages they have and there weren't too many options. I felt slightly rushed along so they could seat next group of people. I had shrimp with grits which was amazing and She-Crab soup which was kinda bland or maybe not for me.. I will return, the environment was great..
Second return! Wayyy better non rushed service food totally scrumptious. -

My wife and I were in Carrolton for doctors appointment and, knowing nothing about the town, went to Yelp for a lunch recommendation. The description and reviews led us to Brown Dog Eatery.
Wow, what a find. The service was exceptional (thank you, Dawn) and the food was fabulous. We both had salads (a Salmon Caesar and a Shrimp Spinach salad) which were delightful, and the Banana Pudding for dessert put it right over the top.
Needless to say we will be back often. -

Probably the best place for food in Carrolton. They serve tons on local beer and even get local food which is posted on the wall from where it comes from.

Had the Fig&Pig sandwich and it was very tasty. Good cheese grits too!
Friendly atmosphere and very good service at the bar.
